Meet ELIJAH

Elijah Goins started Pilot Painting LLC with $400 in his pocket and a simple belief: homeowners deserve a painter they can actually trust.

Before painting, Elijah ran a landscaping business. While working on a commercial property, he saw what painters were charging and realized he could do the work himself and do it better. That decision launched what has become one of Virginia‘s most trusted painting companies.

Elijah earned his private pilot’s license before starting the business, which inspired the company name and logo, which feature the New River Gorge Bridge and the Appalachian Mountains where Pilot Painting LLC was founded. He brings the same precision, discipline, and attention to detail required in aviation to every painting project.

With a degree in religion and a deep commitment to serving others, Elijah built Pilot Painting LLC around a mission that guides every decision: honor God, delight customers, and do good work. That is not just a statement on a wall. It is how his team operates daily.

About Pilot Painting LLC

Pilot Painting LLC provides professional residential and commercial painting services throughout West Virginia & Virginia, including Winchester, Berryville, Purcellville, Round Hill, Shepherdstown, and Hamilton.

What started as a seasonal business in 2020 has grown into a full-service painting company with five full-time painters, 240 completed projects, and 100+ five-star reviews. We specialize in interior painting, exterior painting, and cabinet refinishing for homeowners who value quality over the lowest price.

Every painter on our team undergoes a thorough background check. We do not just Google names and check Facebook. We verify the identity of anyone entering your home.

We use premium Benjamin Moore and Sherwin-Williams products on every project. Our standard interior paints include Benjamin Moore Ben, Benjamin Moore Regal, Sherwin-Williams Cashmere, and Sherwin-Williams Emerald. For cabinets, we use Sherwin-Williams Gallery Series coatings that meet the Kitchen Cabinet Manufacturers Association’s durability standards.

What sets Pilot Painting LLC apart is our communication. You receive a detailed, line-by-line proposal before work begins. Your dedicated team lead provides daily updates throughout the project. We hold weekly internal accountability meetings to review every active job. And we complete a final walkthrough together before collecting payment.

Our service area covers communities in Virginia and West Virginia, including Purcellville, Lovettsville, Round Hill, Bluemont, Waterford, and dozens of surrounding towns. We work with homeowners, property managers, HOAs, offices, churches, and commercial facilities.

We back our work with a 3-year ironclad workmanship warranty and use lifetime warranty products when applicable. Our Free Paint Satisfaction Guarantee means if you are not satisfied despite our best efforts, the cost of paint is on us.
